Hi. Has anyone ever fitted a new throttle body to a Volvo C70 or similar. ??
I have got one that occasionally logs throttle faults and puts the ETC warning light on, We stripped and cleaned the throttle housing but the faults still occur, The Dealer say's that If a new throttle body is fitted it will need a programme downloading into it before it will even attempt to start. ?? I have a used throttle body which I was going to try to fit but the part numbers are different so that could be a no-go. Unless someone has a Volvo parts catalogue. ?? to see if they cross refer.
and does anyone know if a used throttle body will fit or will that need programming. ??
