Vauxhall Vectra X16XEL 1999 - MIL light flash and total loss of power. Archived Message

This vehicle was a non starter and I could not get comms with engine ecu with tech2 but could with immobilizer however no faults found. When battery was boosted car started and comms to engine ecu logged immobilizer code which I cleared and has not returned and did not write down but remember being no signal ?

Now when you rev the engine mill light will flash and you get a total loss of power for a split second and it will do this when driving at about 2 to 3000 revs on acceleration.

All power supplies to ecu check out ok and vauxhall tell me there is no engine management relay just a fuel pump relay Which when bypassed makes no difference.

I suspect ecu fault or possible immobilizer fault due to mil light flash.

    Any help appreciated.
