    The ECU was repaired & returned.The faults that i had reported(no ground to map & coolant sensors etc) were fixed, but there was now no amplifier/igniter signal coming from the ecu,so the ecu repairers collected the ecu again & retested it saying that everything was ok.I rechecked everything again & still came to the conclusion that the ecu was faulty, so the ecu repairer came along(eventually)& tested the output from the ecu & agreed that there was still a fault.He took it back for repair & found that a diode was blown, which he thinks he could have blown when repairing it.Anyway it is now ok after a lot of mucking around.
