Hi.. An update to clarify things on this one..
I definatly havnt caused anything with the SRS - I double checked with the customer as to exactly when iit happened - and it was before I came into contact wth it.. literally whilst she was on the way to me! (Thank you lord!)
Now, have had a look under the dash and there are no diagnostc connectors of any sort.. other than that ecu under the seat theres nothing there neither. Interestingly, to say Id been led away from the diagnostic connector on the trunking behind the radio/center of car.. that particular connector does indeed have a yellow/green wire and a black..that someone suggested to link to get the blinks (sorry cant remember exactly who it was ).. Ive tried linking them and still nothing happens as to blinks on the ABS lamp. It just comes on with the ign. and stays on. So, thats where Im up too... again, if anyone can help Id really appreciate it.
Oh, as for the SRS light, that is still on..actually Ive noticed that it doesnt 'blink' but it does 'pulse' slightly whilst its on...
If taht gves any clues !! ;-)
    TIA then,
    Mike G
