Excuse my ignorance of this sytem - does this code indicate a lambda sensor failure ? Full report is "00537 lambda sensor control - lower stop value". Customer complains of stalling when coming to a halt, and sometimes severe hesitation when cruising at around 1500 rpm. He also says that fuel consumption is worse now. Needless to say that the car behaves well when I have it and plugs, leads and cap/rotor have been renewed. Ignition system scopes OK. Code cleared and did not return while I had the car. |
