P1403 for Daewoo is: Exhaust Gas Recirculation Closed Valve Pintle Error
It is a D type code and will illuminate the MIL.
I suggest you use a suitable scan tool to activate the EGR and confirm free movement. If negative there is a huge list of things to do, check it as you do with any actuator (cleanliness, good electrical connection, signal from ECU etc)
