Ford Mondeo 2002 2.0TDCi - Glow plug light flashing, lack of powerArchived Message

Had this vehicle in with the glow plug light flashing and a lack of power. Connected up to KTS and although the actual system is not listed it goes in under any of the substitute systems it offers. Fault code shows as "P2336 Unknown Fault". This code will not clear. Autodata shows this code to be "Cylinder 1 - above knock threshold - Probable cause: wiring, knock sensor(KS), fuel quality, ignition timing."
Checked the live data listed and all *appears* to be OK. Any ideas anyone?
