This car has come in from another garage who has told me that the car originally had a new fuse box fitted,then it ran ok,then had a new fuel injection pump fitted & ran a lot better again for a while,it has now decided to not start again,also he tells me that they had problems with the windscreen wipers not working & the abs light coming on occasionally(not sure whether this was before or after new fuse box was fitted).The fuel pump stop solenoid is not getting powered up,so they wired in a seperate supply so that the vehicle could be driven. Fault code 546 ,ENG>immobiliser data line;signal implausible,is coming up each time the engine is cranked(without other feed to stop solenoid).I have checked back through the data line from the immobiliser to the ecu,which seems ok & assume that it must be ok from the data link connector to the immobiliser because when i disconnect at the immobiliser i lose comms on my scanner. Pin 61 on the ecu is only showing approx 9volts ,i have checked all the feeds & earths to the ecu & they all seem ok.The keys are showing that they are reckonised by the immobiliser. I have got to check the wiring from the ecu to the stop solenoid yet & the output to the stop solenoid at the ecu pin. Any ideas/help would be much appreciated as i can't find anything in the archives,thankyou Regards ,Andrew.
