FIX; after collecting from dealers with no goodwill offer, I read live data on KTS and found capacitor voltage at 0.8v as they said (should be 75v) with ignition on but cranking read 75v, so guessed ECM was OK after all! had no pressure reading at high pressure rail so removed engine driven `common` rail high pressure pump and had tested (pump was stuffed) fitted exchange Bosch pump and all is well again.
