Hi all,
Have had a quick look at a Fiat Brava 1.2 that suffers from extremely high idle (3-4K) only when started from very cold i.e. left overnight. The increased idle persists for 30 seconds or so and will then drop to normal. Other that the fast idle, the vehicle drives well, starts hot and and cold.
Have scanned ECU, no DTC's at all. The ECT reads fine once started. I am suspecting the idle actuator as all other sensor readings look good. I have scanned the archives and have found a similiar fault but think the idle is affected regardless of temp etc.
Could anybody offer any advice.
