Hi peter,
two plugs on dizzy, two pin and i think its 5 pin.
Its coil in the cap.
The signal I was measuring was on the two pin plug and I was reading the coil primary signal, when the car cut out and I tried to restart, it wouldnt start, the coil signal had gone and I was lft with the digital signal which i suspectd was the amp switching but coil not firing, it just looked like th first part of the primary signal.
I dont know what this signal resistor does, but its mentioned in the wiring diagram.
