Hi Guys, hope someone can help with this one. Vauxhall Corsa 2003 1.2 16v Z12XE Bosch ME 7.6. The car reports the following fault codes P0300 Random Cylinder misfire, P0301 cylinder 1 misfire, P0302 cylinder 2 misfire. If the vehicle is driven hard it can take quite a few miles for the codes to be set, if the car is driven normally or is held on a fast idle they are set very quickly. As soon as the codes are set injection no these cylinders is shut down. The car drives perfectly, with no sign of a misfire or any performance or driveability problems until the codes are set. The plugs and coil pack have been replaced with OE parts. The oil and filter has been changed and 5w/30 synthetic oil used. Engine vacuum is good at +20”, emission readings are good, although I cannot get a fast idle reading as it shuts down the cylinders. The injectors have been swapped between cylinders, put the same cylinders are reported as misfiring. Relative compression has been checked and is perfect. The cam and crank sensor have been scoped and appear fine, although it is difficult to make a conclusion from the crank signal, but change in rate of acceleration appears to be consistent across the cylinders, until the ECU shuts the cylinders down. If anyone has seen this fault or has any ideas they would be most welcome.
Also can I post scope captures from Pico on the forum? If so how?
Many thanks
Stuart

Interestingly had an 05 plate Corsa in a few weeks ago where #2 and #3 cyl kept dropping out.Carried out similar checks and concluded fault with Ecu.Replaced Ecu and fault fixed.hth
