Renault Clio II 1.2 16v D4F - Fault code 531 pedal potentiometer circuit track 1 signal incorrect #

Got a Clio 2 With fault code of 531 using solus Description of Pedal Potentiometer Circut Track 1 Circut Signal Incorrect Current. Have changed the throttle pedal and the wiring loom required as supplied by Renault. Had the throttle body sent to BBA Reman for testing and all ok. Checked the wiring that all seams ok, has any one got any ideas, i was thinking it must be down to the ecu. The fault when you drive is that the mil light on and it will only rev to 3000 rpm. check the white multiplug in fusebox under bonnet for water ingress.had one of these a while back bypassed corroded wires .job sorted

Hi kevin thanks for the advice, but the renault loom that which is replaced with the throttle pedal that is where you cut in and chage it doing away with the connector, but that is most likely where renault have had problems.

HI.IF THIS IS THE SYSTEM WITH THE ECU ON THE BACK OF THE ENGINE,THE LOOM ON THE OFF SIDE OF THE ECU CUTS THROUGH ON THE METAL CAGE ON TOP OF THE ECU.THE LOOM IS REPLACABLE.AFTER FITTING THE LOOM RE-SET THROTTLE ADDAPTIONS.

Hi can you tell me if a snappy will do the throttle addaption. have checked the wiring but can not see a problem with the wiring. Had the ecu checked and that has come back ok, ***^%$*!!'s renaults do my head in........

I have just checked on my Modis in training mode and no throttle adaptions listed
