Vauxhall Corsa C 1.2 16v X12ZE 2002 (52) - Intermittent non start when cold - Fixed #

Engine Code or Type *: X12ZE
( Optional ) ECU Type: bosch
( Optional ) Scanner used: launch

Hi all
Have above vehicle in at the mo, intermitent non start when cold. Fault coded engine management but no fault code, also fault coded bcu 1 fault
U2105 can-bus no communication with engine controller.
When vehicle wont start eng man light flashes really fast and no comm with engine ecu. Checked all power supplies and earths all good, im thinking it could be an ecu fault but not sure. If i keep turning ign on and off a few times it eventually starts. Has anybody else come across a similar fault or any thoughts?

Had a few of these in,we fit an earth lead between the ecu and battery,usually cures it.

Thanks for the replies, John will try that before i condem the ecu. Checked the earth to the ecu and it was good but i will try it anyway you never know.

Hi all
Connected another earth to the ecu but no different, so ordered new ecu hopefully that will sort it. Does anybody know if there is anybody mobile with a tech2 in my area im in north yorkshire, thanks in advance.

Job sorted new ecu fitted reprogramed starts like a guden
