Ford Mondeo 2.5 Duratec V6 - Turn over for 20 seconds before starting, black smoke #
Posted by Dave Emm on February 6, 2009, 12:05 am winds over for anything up to 20secs before starting then belches out black smoke.once cleared runs normally and seems to start ok after having started once.no codes stored.new crank sensor fitted but made no difference.not very familiar with this engine,does anyone know of any common problems with these,cheers dave.
