Mercedes Benz CLK 230 1998 - Fault with coolant temp data in ECU #

Engine Code or Type *: WDB2083472F046611

Hi guys I have fault with coolant temp data in ECU
it's reading -40 oC voltage @ sensor is 5 volts other side of new sensor also 5 volts so it looks like we have no or a very poor connection to ECU ,has anyone supply me with a wiring diagram and possibly pin data for ecu ? Thanks Nigel.

Hi Nigel

The pin data is on AD, pin E29 5v from ecu, pin E28 sensor earth return to ecu.hth

Hi Glyn,not on my copy,or is nit the same ECU listed
for a different model?

Hi Nigel

Checked again I used 1998 CLK 208 2.3 230K engine 111975 Bosch ME2.1

Pin data is listed but no wiring diagrams, i'd e mail it to you but that computer has no internet connection.

Bosch Esi shows Motronic 2.1 system .Pins 28 &29 connector block E Ect sensor.Later models are fitted with Meevo system.hth
