Hi all Got the above vehicle in at the mo, when i try and give more than just a slight bit of throttle it starts jurking as though its cutting in and out. Fault coded and got fault codes
p0481 cooling fan control circuit malfunction p0112 intake air temp circuit low input p0117 engine coolant temp circuit low input p0122 throttle sensor a circuit low input p0198 engine oil temp sensor high
Clered fault codes and ran the vehicle down the road, the fault occured straight away and all fault codes came back apart from the cooling fan control. When i got back the fan was running but the engine was'nt up to temp. Checked the live data for the relevant sensors and all looked o.k. Checked the throttle sensor with scope and they seemed to be alot spikes so i replaced the sensor but still the same. I also replaced the coolant temp sensor thinking that might sort the cooling fan out but it did'nt. I understand that these have problems with the ecu when the fan runs all the time. I was going to change the coils tomorrow thinking that they might be causing interference but not sure. Has anybody else had similar faults or could maybe give me some advice, thanks in advance.
Hi John Thanks for the reply, i will have a look at that tomorrow.
Regards Jamie

Hi all Sent the ecu for testing came back o.k, refitted the ecu and went for a run and car was fine. Couldnt understand it then i noticed that the plastic tubing that the loom ran in was rubbing on a gearbox mounting bolt. Opened the tubing and it had worn into the throttle sensor signal wire, i must of moved it when i removed the ecu. Repaired the wire and job sorted.
