Volkswagen Polo 1.2 12v AZQ - Do these suffer from timing chain faults #

Engine Code or Type *: AZQ
( Optional ) Scanner used: Vagcom

Re occuring fault on map sensor. Does anyone if these engines suffer from timing chain faults?

If it's AZQ then yes and easy to do remember to add price of oil into estimate as sump has to be removed.

we have had two vw polo`s 1.2v with timing chains having jumped teeth,usually following an oil change.There is a modified kit available from main dealer.Side off engine and drop sump.Hope this is of help! Richard
