Hyundai Sonata 2.0 2000 - No spark or injector pulse - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 1999-2000
Engine Code or Type *: 2.0 petrol

rac brought this one in with no spark or injector pulse,put new cas sensor in car got a spark ok but still no injector pulse cant get no information or wiring diagrams on this model injectors got power to them but they still dont paulse.dose the imob cut fuel and spark together can anyone help please thanks

Check the spark, I bet it's gone again......

Stupid immobiliser system will have you chasing your tail. Sometimes it cuts injectors & spark, sometimes just injectors. grrrr.

Yes the immobiliser is probably your problem, have you got a spare key to try. They are the most common fault.

Alternatively, try tow starting, some Hyundai's have a fail-safe, in the event of vehicle speed during running, it defaults to mobilised.

Sorry, I need to elaborate on tow starting.
With Ignition on position 1. Start towing vehicle (at around 20mph), then turn to position 2 whilst moving.
Pop into gear and release clutch.

thanks tony it was a mobiliser got the customer to bring is spear key and it started stright away thanks for your help tony
