Vauxhall Corsa C Z10XE 2001 - MIL on with multiple codes #

Year of Manufacture *: 2001
Engine Code or Type *: z10xe

evening 1.0 corsa c mil light on multiple fault codes p1122 p0340 p1405 p0100 p0120 p0220
all seem to relate to voltage faults high or low thinking earth fault posibly in ecu read about supplying seperate independant earth has anyone come across this and managed to repair that way
sons girlfriends car usual story no money thanks

Without a code description its difficult to say what the fault is but,

Ecu Pin A7 is the 5v reference voltage for,

Cam Sensor P0340
Egr valve P1405
MAF meter P0100.

The other codes are all related to either the accelerator pedal or the throttle body.

I think i may have an ecu with immobiliser chip for a Z10XE but it will need resetting, it can be done with Vaux-Com if you have it.

hi descriptions for codes were as follows
p1122 pedal sensor 2 signal too low

p0340 posistion sensor too high

p0100 maf sensor signal too low

p1405 egr valve voltage too low

p0220 tp sensor signal t0o high

p0120 tp sensor signal too high

if thats any help

I would say you either have a 5v supply fault with the 3 sensors/components (wire fault or ecu) or a missing switched earth which is ecu conrolled.

Check to see if the earth wire on the ecu casing is tight and clean or even if its fitted, if not make your own from the battery - to the casing.

Ecu pin A9 is the earth circuit for the MAF.CTS and EGR valve.

Pin 3 (brown wire) at MAF meter is ecu earth.

The other 2 codes i'm not sure about but could also be caused by eath issues.

Might be worth checking the alternator output as well.

have a look at engine loom at bulkhead have had wiring chaffed through here before

hi got car back from customer yesterday light now gone out , no fault codes present added extra eart cable to ecu direct to batt will let you know what developes thanks for input much appreciated
