Audi A2 1. 4 AUA 2000 - Fault code P1401 EGR short to ground #

Year of Manufacture *: 2000
Engine Code or Type *: AUA 1.4 petrol.
( Optional ) Scanner used: Snap On Modis

Hi Guys, another problem I hope you might be able to help with, EML on code P1401 value for egr short with ground. Fitted new egr valve,cleared fault code. Start engine EML comes on straight away with fault code P1401 value for egr short with ground again.Can anybody point me in the right direction. Many thanks Andy.

What codes do you get if you start the engine with the egr wiring plug off ????
