Renault Clio 1.2 1998 - Air bag MIL on, no communication #

Year of Manufacture *: 1998
Engine Code or Type *: 1.2
( Optional ) Scanner used: solus

Air bag light illuminated. After a number of attempts to get in to system it flaggeg up the words, no matching child, but no code. Never seen this before. has any one else please.

Yes Michael, I have seen that several times before, I would think it means update your software.

or if you have updated your software, try a different scanner.

i would think it means that it cannot identify the system correctly. ??
