VW Polo 1.6 AEE 1998 - Engine cutting out briefly when driving #

Year of Manufacture *: 1998
Engine Code or Type *: AEE
( Optional ) Scanner used: Sykes map

Engine cuts out Breifly while driving, when vehicle speed drops engine restarts. No trouble codes stored, components test on scanner shows vehicle speed 225 kms/h when stationary, this decreases when driving vehicle. Vehicle speedo reading normal, has anybody came across before.
Don't know if vehicle problem or scanner problem.

Many keys on the key-ring? I think it's this age that has problems with the ignition switch. Try waggling the key whilst stationary to enduce a cut-out.

Hi
Does it have an aftermarket alarm system ?????
Have had loads of trouble with these causing miss fires & non starts.
