Peugeot 307 2.0 HDi 2005 (55) - Fuel additive reset problem, help required #

Year of Manufacture *: 55
Engine Code or Type *: 2.0 hdi
( Optional ) Scanner used: dec

hi has any one ever done this using the dec I have one that I have replaced the fluid but cannot get it out of limp mode, need some one I can phone and chat about promblems with this crazy idea. ray 01827 311332

still here I have this one back in next week the car does not see the fuel cap I think it is the pick up by the filler cap which I think will be a reed switch! ray

hi ray
did another one of these yesterday--the cap must have 2 magnets in place & the sensors are failing quite often now,easy to replace just remove wheel inner wheel arch cover & undo filler neck,then replace sensor & refit,i used snap on modis to check live data for confirmation of cap on or off in diesel additive category,but for some reason the modis would not clear fault code in engine so had to use autodiagnos mt pro to reset,then was no problem.

how did you test the sensor? did you use a multimeter. ray

Cap sensor resistance is in the archive,s. I know because i posted on it along with Mike W.
