VW Golf GTI 20v AUMTurbo 2001 - MIL on after a month, codes P1297 and P1137 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2001
Engine Code or CC *: aum
( Optional ) Scanner Used: KT670/Launch

Mil light comes on after about a month after deleted, fault code P1297(connection turbo/throttle valve, P1137 Fuel trim bank 1 ADD system to rich) I see a post in January 2009 with same codes,on audi A3, did you cure it ?,I have done smoke preesure test, slight loss from oil dip stick, have replaced diverter valve, vehicle drives fine, no complaint from customer,no fault at time of testing.

Hi

If not already done first job on these is, remove clean throttle body and basic reset (scan function ).

dirty throttle body is known to flag pressure loss codes on these. nothing to lose as Cheap & easy to do !!!

thanks, owner has car back now but will try this when/ if, owner returns next time light comes on again, may be a month.
