Peugeot 206 1.4 2000 - Intermittent stalling #
Posted by Fiachra Purcell on April 14, 2010, 6:19 pm Sometimes the engine just keeps stalling every time you release the accelerator pedal. This might not happen for a week but then it could happen non stop for a week. The car always restarts no problem. It feels like the idle actuator is not working. There is no pattern, it just comes and goes. The idle steps are 60/70 when everything OK but reach 100/110 when it is in stall mode. I have read all the issues about coils and ECU's but am slow to shotgun parts at this car. The coil and bosch plugs were changed last year. The problem did not start for another 7 months. The problem has only occurred for me twice and both times stopped happening within 2 minutes. Any help would be appreciated.
