Peugeot 206 1.1 HFX 2002 - MIL on, code P0420 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2002
Engine Code or CC *: 1100cc HFX
( Optional ) Scanner Used: socio

The above vehicle is in today with the engine light on and a code of P0420. From what I can find on Autodata it would seem this could be either cat or O2 sensor fault, the description on my manchine is cat converter aging P0420.
Any help please.

Try a forum search using P0420, you will find lots to read.

If you need more help you will need to come back with 4 gas readings idle & cruse.

Also scope pattern ( or at least live data ) from front & rear sensor, again idle and cruse

i have change cat & o2 sensor on a 206 in past same problem so dealer had to undate software
