Ford Mondeo 1.8 2001 - Intermittent stalling when cold - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2001
Engine Size and Code *: 1800 petrol
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Bosch KTS and Snap-on Solus

Hi guys any one help with this one its driving me daft vehicle stalls when it is cold and warming up and every now and again when warm have changed air-mass, idle valve and speed sensor it will not stall in workshop and all exhaust readings are good, smoke tested no air leak found, no fault codes, cleaned out breather valve at the front of the engine ,anyone any ideas thanks john

Hi John,

Have you throughly cleaned out the throttle body/plate?

Hi Pete thanks for the responce no I have sprayed inside with carb cleaner I will take it off and clean it out and let you know cheers john

Hi Pete cleaned the throttle bodt out not a lot of crap in it but seems to have done the job no half measures next time thanks for your input john
