Jeep Cherokee 4.0 1997 - Testing crankshaft sensor #

Year of Manufacture *: 1997
Engine Size and Code *: 4000

Hi
Does anyone have any information regarding these. I need information of the wiring and how to test the crankshaft position sensor (3 wire).

Its basically a hall effect switch and a common fault.One terminal has NBV,one is earth,and the other is a square wave output cranking or running.Sorry can't give you pin configuration.
