Mercedes Benz SL500 1988 - Location of rotary idle control unit (not the valve) #

Year of Manufacture *: 1988
Engine Size and Code *: 5.0

Can anybody tell me were to find rotary idle control unit (not valve)??

Hi, The rotary idle control should be at the front of the engine in the "V" HTH

Thanks for responce Mark, but its the control unit i am trying to locate, not the valve,regards keith.

I think you will find the control unit under the false floor in passenger footwell or if not ,behind glovebox on plastic relay carrier.hth

Sorry for that, Now that I have re-read the post I agree with Andy. The KE Jetronic control ECU should be in the passenger foot well.
