MG ZS 1.8 2005 - Non start, code P0562 #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005
Engine Size and Code *: 1.8
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Bosch KTS
( Optional) Fault Codes: P0562

No start. Customer washed vehicle and parked it up. When he went to start it again it wouldnt go. No fuel or spark. Fault code stored says power supply open circuit. Have tried spare key fob and still no good!

Hi Jim, Why not follow the guided flow chart for the fault code in SIS ?

You are using KTS so you will have ESI and that fault code P0562, has a step by step checking procedure that will walk you through the repair in SIS.

With ESI and a multi meter you have all the tools you need to diagnose that fault code.

hi jim
have you looked at the fuse box in the front hod had one of these last year with the same fault turned out to be loose connetions in the fuse box

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I will have a play with ESI and see what i can do. Not used it before so may need some more guidance, cheers Jim.

Has this one got an Inertia switch behind the console. ? and could he have disturbed it if he was cleaning the inside of the car. ?
