Honda HRV 1.6 New O2 sensor fitted - ECU light blinking - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2003
Engine Size and Code *: 1600 D16W5
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Bosch KTS
( Optional) Fault Codes: P0135 originaly, now P0302, P0304, P0300

Hi, we have a HRV in with the engine management light on and one fault code (P0135) O2 sensor bank 1, sensor 1. We have fit a new genuine sensor and cleared the fault code but after 30 seconds the light starts blinking and now registers fault codes for random misfires (P0302,P0304 and P0300 and also P1399) engine runs smooth though with no noticable misfire??

Just a thought for starters, On some vehicles re setting fault codes can re set adaptions at the same time. It is possible that a previous fault was masked by system adapting over time.

I would have a close look at fuel trims & 02 sensor operation to see if any issues with weak running.

Fixed, Thanks for the reply, disconected the battery for 10 mins or so, reconnected, seems ok now, engine management light not flashing and runs fine.
