Honda Accord Type R 2001 - Definitive description of fault code 8 - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2001
Engine Size and Code *: H22A7
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Multiscan two pin!

Can anyone help with a definitive description for blink code 8 on the above engine? Various references give crank/camshaft/tdc sensor. That's three different sensors on opposite ends of this engine. The car drives fine, but puts on the MIL light with code 8 as soon as I leave it. Is it a matter of 'scoping all three until there is an anomaly, or can I be more specific?

It should have a EOBD socket tucked away under the carpet by the centre consul passenger side (as well as the two pin socket and even a five pin socket) if i remember correctly.

Kevin,
had a big look around the centre consul, but didn't pull the carpets. Thought when I found the two pin socket that was my lot. I will have a more determined look when I get back to it,

Kevin,
rolled the carpet a long way back before I found the DLC poking out from under the centre consul. Then it came up with Honda code 80-01, EGR insufficient flow detected. So is that where my code 8 came from?
It was not what I expected from the blink code. Another learning day

I am afraid my fix was premature, and there is an intermittent fault on the power supply to the EGR valve, which I cannot trace. Autodata and Vivid are of no help, so can anyone help with a wiring diagram so I can trace it back. I suspect a dry joint in a relay somewhere, but which one and where?
