Autodata has no information on wiring or ECU location for this car.

Can anyone provide me with ECU pin info and ECU location please?

(I need to trace through #1 O2 sensor wiring as have heater circuit fault and no signal).

Regards,

Steve

Hi Steve

From Vivid

Looks like ECU is behind glove box area

Thank you Peter.

I'll resume the search.

Incidentally, how does Vivid compare to Autodata now it's a bit more established? I gave it a try some time ago and stuck with AD in the end.

Steve

Hi Steve

I think Vivid has come on very well in the last 18 months

I am in discussion with Vivid in Holland at the moment, so I cannot say to much (voice my opinion )

The problem I have is that Autodata is very well established in the UK, getting garages to change to an unfamiliar format is very challenging

As from January 2011 Vivid are raising the price of the Business pack to £620:00 plus vat, the majority of UK workshops opt for AD CD2 at £535:00 plus vat, CD3 is only £15:00 more than Vivid

So you can see my dilemma

Will keep you all updated as things develop

Peter

Thanks Peter

I guess your response to my original request demonstrated that Vivid may have more content than AD.

It would be good to compare on that basis since a lot of us will not be prepared to pay that sort of amount to have the two products.

I did like the format of Vivid, I must say. AD is a bit cumbersome and dated-looking...in my opinion.

Steve
