Fiat Punto 1.2 8v 2004 - Varying cold idle #
Posted by Jim Watson on June 6, 2011, 1:30 pm Hi all, had a look through the archives for which there are many but none relating to this fault. The car has a poor idle only when cold but no other symptoms and car drives perfectly. It idles up and down with revcounter dropping to about 600 and picking back up to 800, I would call it hunting, no misfiring happening. There are no fault codes stored, cam timing is correct as is coolant sensor, map sensor etc etc. Tried cleaning the throttle body with no improvement, no air leaks noticed, throttle body is clamped tight etc, wonder if anyone has seen this before?
