Peugeot 206 1.4 TU 2006 - Non start - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006
Engine Size and Code *: 1.4 TU
( Optional ) ECU Type: Valeo
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Dec,Autodiagnos

Ok customer phoned to say speedo stopped, then to say that ABS light on, then brought car to me with the dash like Blackpool illuminations. Customer left it with me and now its a non starter.
Codes present P0485 Cooling fan function,U0415 Vehicle speed no signal, U1000 Communication between engine ecu and other ecus not present, U118 BSI reception,
Live data says 14rpm, Speed 255kph, no battery voltage, engine temp 79deg. and it goes on with spurious figures that are not realistic. Have checked for harness connection faults etc. Next is to get the ecu tested. Who do you recommend these days ? as its a mine field . I have had no luck with BBA in the past.

hi have you tested the earth to the engine,body and ecu also would be worth confirming the 12v feeds to the ecu before sending for repair.

Would anyone have an ecu pin out/wiring diagragm for this car? Its a Valeo ecu . I suspect there is a common supply failure to the ecu's but am unable to obtain the info from anywhere.

Well what can i say. The engine ecu was saturated with codes, all can lines checked out . Replaced engine ecu, part comms with can, replaced BSI no comms with abs, bridged comms lines and car started, replaced with new abs ecu and coded.
I can only assume that there has been an outside influence on this car to cause a total shut down/failure of 3 control units! There is nothing on the car and no indication of over charging from the alternator to suggest a cause. My feeling is that it has been jump started at some time , spiking the system .
