VW Golf 2.0 FSi AXX 2006 - Excessive pressure in engine #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006
Engine Size and Code *: 2.0 fsi axx

Hi

This car seems to have excessive pressure in engine. When oil filler cap is removed engine starts to hunt and pressure sucks filler cap back onto rocker cover. Have replaced breather assembly on rocker cover.

Wondered if theres another valve built into a hose like some of the earlier golfs and Audis.

Any advice would be grateful

Has thecar got any running issues? A lot of the new vag fsi, bmw and the like are mentto be like that. BMW engines run poor with filler cap removed and do have a lot of vacumm. Sam

As Sam has said this is quite normal. They run surprisingly rough with the dipstick out slightly.
