Hi Folks,
This is a new one for me and I'd appreciate some info. Fault code description is as follows... 2AF9 Nitrogen oxide sensor, deceleration check. 2AF4 Nitrogen oxide sensor, electrical. 2AF6 Nitrogen oxide sensor, lambda linear. Can anyone tell me how to test this sensor? Is it possible to scope it or are we looking at live data, and what values should I be seeing, or could it be the actual nitrogen cat? The only fault the customer/friend has experienced is the M.I.L. on, performance has not been affected. There is also a code (2C7F) Lambdasond after Cat regulation which I will test and replace first in case there is a chain of events. Oh yes and 30DE unknown fault code???
Hi mark, people have had issues with this sensor on the vag TFSI engines and got to the bottom of theres. Try serching for nox on vag and im sure it will be a lot of help. From memory you will be needing to look at live data with WOT, deceliration etc. Sam
