Mitsubishi Outlander 2.4 2005 - Non start, no power to fuel pump - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2005
Engine Size and Code *: 2.4 mivec

Hi

This car has lost the power supply to the fuel pump.If an external supply is hooked in it runs fine.I am struggling to find any accurate info on fuel pump circuit and location of relays.All the usual Datawrong sites are incorrect and Bosch esi does not give specific info on this model.

Any help please?

Andy,

the relays are located in the fuse/relay box behind the driver's side dash.Fuel pump relay#1 is energized when the ignition is on and FP relay #2 is PCM energized.Hope this helps ya.

Fixed.Turns out car had a previous after market alarm fitted and the fuel pump circuit had been cut in the loom behind glovebox and not rejoined properly.
