Year of Manufacture *: 2002 Engine Size and Code *: 1.4 ( Optional ) Scanner Used: modis ( Optional) Fault Codes: P1345 VVT sensor/cmp sensor circuit fault bank 1
ENG CODE:4ZZ-FE
Hi guys
I wondered if anybody could provide a comparison pattern or confirm my crank and cam sync please.
The code appears with the engine running and disappears with just ignition on without having to clear it.
The idle speed is slightly low and rough Manifold pressure is slightly low at 16-17''hg
I will post more info about the symptoms and test results tomorrow this vehicle looks like it has got some repair history. I have got some more testing to do in the morning at the ecu end and the vvt solenoid but it would be nice to confirm the the cam and crank sync.
I am just trying to maybe catch someone before you guys go to bed
Thanks in advance James

Does that pdf relate to his engine? It appears to show a different set up, appears inductive/inductice where as James has inductive/hall if his capture is correct. Also the Echo has one tooth where as James is showing three.
