I had a quick look at this while doing another job. I am mobile and this customer reported the vehicle battery discharging overnight. I quickly checked and found 120m/a draw, after everything had shut down. The battery was up enough to start the vehicle( had been on a charger overnight) so I removed the positive terminal for jump starting in the engine bay. I checked thet he had a radio code. The discharge then disappeared so I departed just taking a bottle of fine wine in payment, telling him to replace the connection in the morning. Now I get a pnone call next day saying battery is flat. Is there anything that could still have flattened that battery? I suspect a faulty battery but he said had been tested at a local french garage who reported it as ok? Any suggestions please? Mike retired top France!!!!
