Jaguar XJ8 3.2 1999 - Non starter after discharged battery - Fixed #

I have a 1999 Jaguar 3.2 XJ8 Sport. I drove it into my Garage in September to give it a bit o TLC it was running perfectly as it has always. Unfortunately my little battery conditioner had stopped working without me realising and the battery had discharged completely. Replaced battery and now have a non-starting problem as a result.
The display is showing many problems. Gearbox Fault. Fail Safe Engine Mode. Electrical Fault. Suspension Fault. Incorrect Part Fitted.
There are no ignition lights whatsoever when switched on. The engine will not crank but starter is ok, everything else appears to work lights and windows etc. I have checked all the fuses and have noticed that there is no power to fuses 10/12/14/16 these are ECM, EGR.Airflow,O2, Ig Coils etc. I have left the Battery connected and then disconnected and connected again no joy. No Comms with my scanner. Any suggestions.

Have you checked for an inertia switch located in drivers side kick panel?

Thanks for replies. Checked for inertia switch David. Will have a look through the diagram thanks for the link Ian. The more I think about this, I think the flat battery may be a coincidence as there is no ignition lights or cranking. It may have to wait until New Year now got customers to look after the next couple of days.

Finally got to have another look at my Jag on Friday. Checked out the wiring diagram (thanks for that link Ian) it clearly shows there is an inertia switch, which is not behind the kick panel but further forward at the side of the throttle pedal but under the carpet. Anyway sorted now. What puzzles me is why it had activated? Thanks lads I could have looked a bit foolish with this one.
