VW Polo 1.2 AZQ 2002 - Cam versus Crank timing waveform required #

Year of Manufacture *: 2002
Engine Size and Code *: 1200 - AZQ

Does anyone have a good crank verus cam oscilloscope pattern for the 1.2 AZQ engine?

I might be wrong but im pretty sure James Eardley got one from the Polo we were playing with that had compression problems at high revs?? Might be worth asking him

I may be missing the point here, but it is a 10 minute job to check the cam timing on this engine, quicker than scoping it?

I did one of these last week and it was probably 90 degrees out.
I didnt bother taking a scope trace as there is no cam sensor on the second cam and so scope testing it would be inconclusive.
As Jon mentioned it is simple to use the locking pins that go into the holes at the rear of the head and confirm the timing
