Nissan Almera Petrol 1.5 2000 - Code P0335 crank sensor circuit problem #

Year of Manufacture *: 2000
Engine Size and Code *: 1500CC QG15DE

Hello All. Hope you can help.

WE have fault code:-
P0335 Crankshaft sensor circuit problem.

We have replaced the crankshft sensor and still not cured.

We have scoped the cam and crank signals using our old pico scope. Can only get a photo as all the USB ports damaged on that computer.

Does the trace look ok or has the chain stretched.

It doesn't look quite right to me.

Can you do a snap throttle test and then you can compare the amount of shift.

Im sure there is a good capture in these or picos archives.

I have one at work but im not there..

Its the 1.0 engine in a micra but correlation should be the same.

Thanks for all the replies and the links to wave forms.

From the wave forms it looks light the cam shaft is running a bit late so expect the chain is worn.

Parts prices from Nissan are very expensive so may have bitten the bullet.
