Hi
This car was fitted with a new engine ECU because of ingress of oil due to a faulty crank sensor pushing oil up the loom. Also, someone had in the past attempted a repair on it.
The problems with the old ECU were random missfire codes and flatline front oxygen sensor (o2) signal.
The missfire has gone and the oxygen sensor now switches. The garage has replaced the front sensor with a genuine item and the rear with an aftermarket one.
Since then we have had the faults listed below
P0403-EGR control P0135-Oxygen sensor B1S1 heater circuit P0141-Oxygen sensor B1S2 heater circuit P0443-Evap system purge control valve circuit Also Coolant temp sensor CAN signal not okay
These codes will delete and will return after a test drive.
Could this be a coding issue? The TIS2WEB worked seamlessly and no issues were noted. Any ideas would be helpfully
Hi This one turned out to have blown a 15amp fuse due to the oil getting up to the EGR, rear o2 and the ignition coil. Cleaned out as many connection's as possible and advised the customer that a new loom would be advisable.
