Car presented by new customer, complaining of noise "like engine whooshing" (cooling fan operating) no fault codes present, but Engine temp. on live data showing as over 130 deg., gauge on dash reading normally, on questioning no complaints regarding performance or fuel consumption but vehicle only used in town.

Receiving conflicting information regarding the number of sensors that transmit the coolant temp. I don't seem to have a diagram for the 307, the closest wiring diagram I have to it is for a 406, which shows only one sensor.

Disconnecting the temp sensor on the end of the cyl. head/thermostat housing sends the gauge on dash off the upper end of the scale, but makes no difference to the reading in the live data (130 deg)any ideas or has someone experienced this before.
