Peugeot 207 cc 1.6 VTi 5FW 2009 - Codes P0013, P0014, P11a3, P11a8, P0301 & P0304 #

Engine Size and Code *: 1.6 vti 5fw
( Optional ) Scanner Used: dec

first time working on this engine went to autodata for wiring etc and there's nowt there great.
I have a few fault codes; p0013, p0014, p11a3, p11a8 and p0301 to p0304 apart from the misfire ones all the others relate to the cam timing and dephasing unit. then the car ran out of petrol. has anyone have a bit of knowledge on these engines ray

SO what have you had time to look at?

How is the VVC controlled? oil?, electrical (PWM) solenoid? what are the power feeds like?

Square wave duty cycle?

Scope the cam/crank feeds whilst carrying out an actuator test?

Modern cars, Its all wizardry and witchcraft

First item to do on these engines before doing anything is check the engine oil level.

not far as it ran out of petrol, it was over filled with oil, which I have removed I will be checking loom feeds etc all codes cleared ok. ray

Check the Temp sender unit to ECU have replace many on these,causing all sorts of problems

Hi

Check my report on 207 non start fixed, our 207 was basically gummed up.
