Peugeot 1007 1.4 KFV 2006 - No comms with ECU - Non start - Fixed #

Year of Manufacture *: 2006
Engine Size and Code *: 1400 KFV
( Optional ) ECU Type: Johnsons
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Texa - PP2000

Customer did long journey in car to family for christmas. Parked up for two days, now won't start.
Vehicle recovered to me for diagnosis. No comms with engine ECU, and all other fault codes in various systems relate to no comms. All wiring visually looks ok, CAN lines seem fine.
ABS module constantly clicking when ignition on.
Very slight water ingress into under bonnet fuse module but no significant damage.

Any help much appreciated!!

Time to load test the P's & E's then scope the CAN lines.

Sounds like the abs unit.
The can lines go through the abs unit to the engine ecu.

Disconect the abs multiplug and bridge terminals 19 to 21 and 23 to 25, then see if you get engine comms and start.
(you might want to double check correct terminals with a diagram, I am working from memory)

Yep Id go to ABS unit first also. I think there are two types with different CAN wiring so check first.

Short to earth of the Engine ECU main 12v feed in the under bonnet fuse box cause by water ingress. May have some thing to do with this lovely weather we have at the mo!
