Vauxhall Astra H Z16XER 2009 - Code P0365 Camshaft position sensor, signal not in range #

Hi All,
Been out to this vehicle twice now, on both occasions the fault has not occured! however i have pulled fault code
P0365 - Camshaft position sensor, Signal not in range
The customer complains that it drops into limp mode whilst he is driving it.
i have the vehicle in the workshop at the moment and am going to scope the 2 camshaft sensors (Which have both already been replaced by a local garage)
i am hoping to get the fault to reproduce so i can see exactly whats happening.

Have you tried creating a fault with the wiring by load testing it?

Load tested the wiring back to ECU and scoped the two cam sensors, the one looses an output when the fault occurs, however 5v and earth are still present and correct!
Swap sensors from inlet to exhaust and re-test and fault still occurs on same circuit..
