Fiat 1.2 2001 - Misfire repaired, MIL still flashing - Fixed #

Engine Size and Code *: 1242 cc
( Optional ) Scanner Used: Snap on Solus

Hi all

I have the above car in for an engine miss fire. Number 1 injector broken, I think the owner tried to change the plugs himself and broke the number 1 injector (I've seen this happen before)

I replaced the injector and fitted a new set of plugs and it runs fine. Problem is that although I've cleared the fault codes the engine light is still flashing even though no codes are present or pending. Has anyone come across this before ? Thanks in advance Dominic.

Yes

Start the engine and let it run at idle
until the engine is at full operating temperature.Rev the engine till at least 5,000
rpm and then let it return to idle, do this 3 times then the light should go out
